St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Vancouver’s West End hosted an Equinox evening of inspiring music last Friday, March 20, raising money for their community advocacy program. I am grateful to have been one of the feature performers in this absolutely beautiful 100+ year-old wooden church. Of all the gifts that music has given me over the years, playing music in such a wonderful space, with soaring wooden Gothic vaults, fantastically clear acoustics, and an amazing warm, glowing light is definitely one of the best.

The organizers did a great job, the audience was lively, fun and supportive, and the other feature act, The Response from New Zealand, played achingly gorgeous music, creating a surprising amount of sound for two people! Everyone enjoyed themselves and money was raised for a good cause. An excellent night all around!
