I’ve been invited to take part in a great event Sunday December 11 at the Big Rock Urban Brewery in Vancouver. It’s the 2nd Annual CRAFTMAS, a celebration of holiday crafting and local music. I urge you to attend. It’ll be fun!
CRAFTMAS is the brainchild of Kristina Lao, of Indie VanCity, a volunteer-led collective showcasing Vancouver’s emerging musical talent. As part of Kristina’s community-building focus, CRAFTMAS brings together musicians and independent, non-music artists to foster community across the arts. Not only is it a great way to nurture Vancouver artists, it’s always a good time!
The basic format of the day is music mixed with hands-on crafting. That’s right, come out and get some Holiday cheer and chores done in one place! Crafter extraordinaire Jennifer Lyons leads the hands-on part.
I play an opening set, so come early, then stay for the other musicians and the crafting! Tickets available in advance through Pocket Social and at the door. Cost is $15, which includes a free beverage AND a whack of crafting supplies so you can craft along!
Mark your calendar, come on out. I look forward to seeing you there.
