Mend Piece by Yoko Ono
I went to this really cool and fun and enjoyable art exhibit today, at the Rennie Museum in Vancouver’s Chinatown. Check out the website, see for yourself what it’s about, the exhibit is a bunch of broken crockery, twine, thread, glue and rubber bands, and the idea is to mend pieces, in turn mending the Universe.
It was a lot of fun, and I was enthralled with all the different ways people thought of to mend. My favourite piece is a horse someone made.
I recommend going – it’s open in ½ hour segments, and you must reserve your place. Go to the Visit tab on the Rennie website.
And I have to say thanks to Bob Rennie for bringing the show here at his own expense. (There’s no admission charge. It’s free.)
